Welcome to Moat Primary Academy, where we aim for our children to 'be the best that they can be’.

We are a small primary school in Matson, Gloucester – Reception to Year 6 and have an on-site Pre-School.

Moat staff work to ensure all pupils feel happy and safe whilst delivering an engaging, broad and balanced curriculum. Our School Values (be kind, be honest, be respectful and be responsible) underpin everything we do at Moat preparing pupils both socially and emotionally to become lifelong learners and enabling children and adults to grow, develop and respond positively to all opportunities and challenges.  We have a strong pastoral and SEND team ensuring all children’s needs are met. We work closely with our parents so that all children can reach their full potential.
